Hi, I'm Jamal. I grew up associating green tea with a bitter and flavourless drink made from a tea bag filled with powdered leaves. As I got older and became more interested in Japanese culture, I learned of the art of tea and its history in Japan. This led me to searching out real high quality Japanese green tea to try myself. I soon found this simple green drink to be unexpectedly diverse, complex and steeped in history and tradition. I enjoyed the calming energy it gave me, the moments of tranquility while I prepared a cup. Now it's become a daily habit and something of an obsession if i'm honest! My hope with Izumi Tea is to share my passion for tea with as many people as I can, and to be a source of outstanding quality tea that you can trust.
